There are a variety of ways to check-in at London City Airport designed to speed up your journey. There are both Check-in Desks and Self-service kiosks in the Main Terminal or you can use the Online Check-in facility on your airline's website.
BA passengers travelling to New York can check-in, with hand luggage, 15 minutes before the flight is due to depart.
CityJet, Air France and KLM passengers can check-in 15 minutes before the flight is due to depart with hand luggage and 20 minutes with checked in luggage.
For all other passengers your airline will be able to confirm latest check-in times. Passengers are able to check-in hold baggage two hours before their flight is due to depart.
Check-in desks are located on the ground floor of the Terminal concourse, on the right hand side as you enter the building.
Passengers can check-in for flights with British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France, Alitalia, Luxair, KLM and SWISS using the CUSS machines in the Terminal concourse or outside the Airport entrarance next to the London City Airport Docklands Light Railway station.
Self bag tagging is available to all British Airways passengers. Visit one of the blue self-service check-in kiosks located in the main terminal or along the walkway between the airport and Docklands Light Railway station and follow the instructions. To view how this works click here.
