London City Airport takes environmental management seriously. Managing the impact our operation has on the local and global environment, and local communities is a priority for our business. We work closely with our neighbours and stakeholders to maximise the positive benefits the Airport brings to the local and UK economies, while delivering wide ranging environmental programmes to ensure we can operate and grow in a sustainable way.
To ensure the London City Airport Environmental Programme is continually progressing, we have committed, through an updated (2009) legal planning agreement with the London Borough of Newham, to a range of environmental monitoring and mitigation strategies and action plans. We report our progress with an Annual Performance Report which is published at the end of July each year. The Annual Performance Report on the 2011 calendar year can be found here:
The Annual Performance Report for the calendar year 2012 will be published at the end of July 2013. If you would like more information, or to discuss our environmental programme in more detail, please contact us at: environment@londoncityairport.com.
