London City Airport’s Fun Day will feature a range of thrilling attractions for the entire family to enjoy. Keeping with tradition Fun Day’s theme is ‘Festival of Fun’ with emphasis on sport, fitness and health activities.
Visitors this year can enjoy three interactive zone areas. Back by popular demand is West Ham United providing drills and activities for all football enthusiasts to perfect their skills. Although there is no air show children can take to the skies on a Jet Plane kiddy ride or for those more daring they can climb the Helter-skelter slide for a 10 meter exhilarating plunge. Fight for Peace will be offering taster boxing lessons to those brave enough to get into the ring and children can hit the synthetic slopes in the ski play area.
London City Airport’s Community Relations team along with local partners will be running a number of exciting activities and demos throughout the day.
Fun Day takes place on Saturday 3rd July at Thames Barrier Park from 11.30am to 3.30pm. The Docklands Light Railway will bring you directly to Pontoon Dock station which leads you to the festival of fun.
