It’s a well-known saying that time is money, and now we know how much that is for London City Airport's business travellers.

Research conducted by London City reveals passengers on average value their time at £189.25 per hour; 30% value time at £200 plus, 18% at £300 plus and 8% at a remarkable £500 plus.

E.The research looked at all elements of a passengers experience in the airport and the overwhelming finding in all categories was the importance of speed, efficiency and convenience.

Due to the short time spent through check-in and arrivals, London City identified that a passenger flying four times a month could save around eight hours equating to more than £1,500. But flying through London City does not only bring financial savings. Less time spent at the airport means more time at home to spend with loved ones, which many of the passengers surveyed mentioned as important to them.
