Passenger figures have continued to improve with 80,315 travelling through the airport during the last week of June.
This new record beat the airport's all time high set just a few weeks before with 78,700 passengers. Figures for June 2013 represent a 20% increase compared to the same period in 2012. London City attributes this success to delivering the services passengers require with existing routes increasing frequency and the introduction of new destinations that include Rome, Kristiansand, and more recently Dusseldorf.
