PRIVATEJET CELEBRATES ITS FIRST BIRTHDAY

Yesterday, PrivateJet, London City Airport’s worldwide executive jet charter brokering service, celebrated its first birthday and predicts growth of 100% for their second year of operation.

John Brutnell, Commercial Manager for PrivateJet, is confident of their growth target for year two, which is being fuelled by the business community, increasingly recognising the value of using private jets: “Currently we are seeing the business aviation segment of our market growing faster than any other air traffic market. The majority of PrivateJet’s demand is for European travel.  Europe is a rapidly expanding market and, while America is expected to remain the largest market for business jets, deliveries of private jets into Europe are now exceeding America.

“Demand is greater for all methods of business jet travel, such as charter, management and fractional ownership.  In addition, the introduction of very light jets (VLJ’s) is further expanding the market by lowering cost of entry and ownership.”

PrivateJet attends to all customer needs, from initial quotation through to the VIP catering that may be required on board. In short, every detail is looked after to ensure that travel is effective, flexible and enjoyable wherever it may be in the world.

To celebrate a successful twelve months of operations PrivateJet is launching Jet Magazine, a bespoke publication reflecting the broad profiles of individuals that travel on private aircraft.  The content will be varied, intelligent and engaging, ideal for a respite from work or to help leisure fliers relax into their environment.

“Private jet travel is becoming more and more accessible to a broad range of travellers as a result of the industry growth.  It is an extremely exciting time and PrivateJet, now an established full-service company, will continue to deliver seamless, highly tailored and totally reliable travel from anywhere to anywhere, ” concludes John.

PrivateJet forms part of London City Airport’s corporate aviation offering, which today holds a worldwide reputation for quality.  It complements two fixed based operations, London City Airport Jet Centre, which is the industry and consumer choice when London is their destination, and Northolt Jet Centre PPS.  Adding Northolt Jet Centre PPS enables London City Airport Jet Centre to enhance its London operation and tailor it’s corporate passenger handling.
