British Airways Adds More Glamour to London City Airport with Launch of Nice

In celebration of the new daily service to Nice with British Airways, the terminal concourse at London City Airport was transformed into a casino on Monday 31 March. Calling on the glamour of Monte Carlo, BA rolled out the red carpet and flew in a croupier, inviting passengers to try their luck on the roulette table.
 
The new service to Nice is operated by BA CityFlyer. Departing London City Airport at 0930 with the return flight arriving at 1525, passengers travelling for business or leisure are able to take advantage of the convenient links to Nice from London's only airport.  
 
Peter Simpson, managing director of BA CityFlyer, comments "“This is a very exciting week for us as we start the Nice service which is both a popular leisure and business destination. Our London City network is expanding rapidly, our aircraft fleet is growing and we are looking forward to further growth in the year ahead.”
 
Richard Gooding OBE, chief executive of London City Airport welcomed the new service "With Nice being added to BA's successful operation here at London City Airport, and further routes to Warsaw, Amsterdam and Barcelona commencing in May, these are exciting times for passengers who want an even greater choice of European destinations from our convenient location in the Docklands.”
