London City Airport collected the Best UK Airport Award at the Business Travel Awards 2011. Judges praised the airports’ efficiency in dealing with the challenges of heightened security and weather disruption, and recognised the Airport’s continuous commitment to service excellence, with the continued emphasis on speedy passenger processing.
London City Airport was honoured with the prestigious Lord Mayor’s Dragon Award. The Lord Mayor’s Dragon Award recognises the Airport’s significant contribution and commitment to the economic Regeneration of London through its Take-Off into Work Programme (TOIW) which is aimed at young aspiring students.
London City Airport received the Gold Award for Top UK Airport, voted by Wanderlust magazine’s readers, for the fifth year running.
