Based at RAF Northolt, the Northolt Jet Centre is an extension of London City Airport Jet Centre and provides a fast, hassle free gateway to north and west London, and the Thames Valley.

With a 1,684m runway, Northolt is ideal for all corporate aircraft, up to and including Boeing and Airbus Business Jets with a maximum capacity of 30 seats (excluding single engine aircraft). Helicopters are also accepted.

RAF Northolt is restricted to just 3,500 flights a year (7,000 Movements) so access is at a premium.

Northolt Jet Centre Premier Passenger Service is managed by London City Airport Jet Centre Ltd. All handling and security staff are employed by London City Airport Jet Centre Ltd and the terminal is shared with the Royal Air Force.

Location and access

RAF Northolt is conveniently located on the A40, just inside the M25 motorway. It is only 12 miles from London’s West End, about 30 minutes by road depending on traffic. Fast access to the M25 motorway provides an excellent link to all major roads and motorways out of London.

Private transfers

Northolt Jet Centre Premier Passenger Service can arrange private transfers if required. Please enquire when making your handling request.

Public transport

Train and Underground Stations nearby include Ruislip Gardens and South Ruislip, both on the London Underground Central Line. South Ruislip is also served by the Chiltern Line into Marylebone Station.

Departing passengers

All passengers departing from RAF Northolt need to report to the RAF Check Point at the White House entrance to Northolt airfield. This is a separate entrance at the end of Wingfield way, off West End Road, which runs perpendicular to the A40.  Wingfield Road is identifiable by a TOTAL petrol station on the corner of the road.

Security charge per rotation   £75.00
Security Levy per passenger - £10 after 6 Pax, each    

Out of Hours Charge: 100% surcharge applies to operations over the weekend and before 08.00 and after 20.00.

Aircraft Hangarage and Engineering Services 

Northolt Jet Centre can arrange hangarage (if available) directly with the RAF and limited line maintenance services. Please enquire when booking your handling requests

Other Apron Service Charges

  • De-icing can be arranged with the RAF on your behalf through the Northolt Jet centre. Price on application
  • Fuel is supplied by Air BP
