Pre-application consultation on the Airport Stand Replacement Project officially closed on 31 December 2011. However, if you have missed the deadline or have additional comments, they can be emailed to asrp@lcy.co.uk or you can call 020 7646 0530.
The responses received are now being collated and each consultee responded to directly. All feedback received will be included in a Statement of Community Involvement, which will form part of the planning application for the preferred option for the ASRP, which we expect to submit to the London Borough of Newham in the spring.
London City Airport is currently seeking the views of local people and stakeholders on options for replacing the aircraft parking stands at the airport. The Airport Stand Replacement Project (ASRP) will enable the next generation of aircraft to use the airport but without the need for a new runway or new terminal buildings. There will be no increases in numbers of flights above what is already permitted.
New planes will bring benefits for local communities in terms of reduced noise and emissions, whilst enabling the airport to continue to provide thousands of jobs and support the ongoing regeneration of East London. As part of this consultation, the airport has held a series of public exhibitions of our plans:
The information displayed at these exhibitions can be viewed below
