This sultry Spanish island is renowned worldwide for its gargantuan factory clubs, all-night raves and celebrity-studded live music scene. Away from the party-centric southeast, though, Ibiza is paradoxically serene and idyllic. Around Punta Galera, shimmering turquoise seas lap pristine sandy beaches against a backdrop of lush woodland, and the scent of almond blossom hangs heavy in the air. Whitewashed villages perch on sun-bleached hilltops and ancient churches dot the rural landscape. This is an island of two sides – all that’s left for you to do is decide which side you want to be on.
