London City Airport is committed to managing and reducing its emissions from both ground and air operations. The airport is approaching this by directly managing its own emissions and encouraging other stakeholders to do the same.
This commitment is outlined in the airports Carbon Management Policy. The following sections further describe the ways in which the Airport fulfils this commitment.
Air Quality Action Plan
London City Airport has published its latest Air Quality Action Plan that sets out a range of measures to be implemented up until the end of 2018.

Air Quality Reporting
London City Airport also operates a comprehensive Air Quality Measurement Programme (AQMP) at sites in and around the airport to ensure that its operations do not adversely affect the local community.
