University Visits Fund

London City Airport’s University Visits Fund provides schools and sixth forms with financial contributions towards group visits to the UK’s Russell Group Universities.

The fund is intended to inspire students to aim for the very best academic institutions in the country by giving them real and memorable visiting experiences. Studying at a Russell Group University can open doors to career opportunities on completion of their degree.

Funding is open to sixth forms, whose students are getting ready to apply for university, and also to schools who wish to motivate students from a younger age to achieve their goals.

Teachers can apply for a grant of up to £750 per school/sixth form, which can be used towards travel and other costs related to the trip. Applications will be assessed in order of receipt.

Please note, funding is only available to schools or sixth forms in the following boroughs: Newham, Waltham Forest, Greenwich, Tower Hamlets, Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge and Havering.
