Head to Jersey’s rugged north coast for stunning clifftop walks or adventure inland to explore the capital, St Helier, where you’ll everything from Victorian seafood markets to fascinating museums.

From speakeasy cocktail bars to real-ale country pubs, Jersey has a vibrant nightlife much bigger than its size. Liberation Brewery has been producing Jersey ales for over a century, and its award-winning Liberation Ale, the classic IPA and a range of its seasonal ales are all available at many Jersey pubs.

Across the island, there are plenty of terraces for an outdoor drink or two, but pop into the The Troubadour for some live music as you drink. The waterfront bars are ideal for a pint with a picturesque backdrop. However, most of the island’s nightclubs and cocktail bars are in St Helier. For cocktails, try the Prohibition-style Blind Pig, a decadent den with an absinthe fountain and Baroque mirrors, all hidden behind a wardrobe door. Or give upmarket converted gentlemen’s-club, Banjo, a try. If you want to party all night, head to The Drift or Mimosa, both at Liberty Wharf, St Helier.

The island also has a thriving live music and theatre scene, with the Jersey Arts Centre, Jersey Opera House and Fort Regent in St Helier showcasing touring theatre, dance, comedy and music productions throughout the year.
