London City Airport does allow pets to travel with passengers out of the airport however it does not have the facilities to allow pets to travel back into the airport.

Onboard the aircraft small pets maybe permitted to travel in the cabin with passengers. Any large pets will be placed in cages and be put into hold.

Passengers are strongly advised to contact their airline before they travel to confirm they will be permitted to travel with a pet as each airline has different requirements for domestic and international routes. Also airlines operate services on different types of aircraft and this determines whether they are able to accommodate pets onboard.

If you are travelling with British Airways pet transport is not possible at London City Airport. Only trained assistance dogs are accepted and must be approved by British Airways prior to travel. Further information on travelling with an assistance dog on British Airways can be found here.
