Mozart’s Birthplace

Amadeus Mozart was born in 1756 inside number 9 Getreidegasse. Today the house acts as a monument to the famous composer, full of priceless gems and treasures from his lifetime.

Mirabell Palace and Gardens

Built in 1607 and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this impossibly romantic Baroque palace with huge formal gardens appeared in the film The Sound of Music.
