There are a variety of ways to check-in at London City Airport designed to speed up your journey. There are both check-in desks and self-service kiosks in the main terminal or you can use the online check-in facility on your airline's website.

Passengers are advised that check-in is open 2 hours before scheduled departure. Passengers will be unable to check-in before this time.

Check-in Desks

Passengers are able to check-in hold baggage two hours before their flight is due to depart. Passengers are advised to confirm the latest check-in times with their airline.

Check-in desks are located on the ground floor of the Terminal concourse, on the right hand side as you enter the building.

Common User Self Service (CUSS) Check-In

Passengers can check-in for flights with British Airways, Lufthansa, Alitalia, Luxair, and SWISS using the CUSS machines in the Terminal concourse or outside the Airport entrance next to the London City Airport Docklands Light Railway station.

Self Service Check-In and Bag Drop

Self bag tagging is available to all British Airways passengers. Visit one of the blue self-service check-in kiosks located in the main terminal or along the walkway between the airport and Docklands Light Railway station and follow the instructions. To view how this works click here.
