Animals at the airport
Need to travel with an assistance animal, or want to transport a pet? Here’s what you need to know.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs (and their owners) are welcome at the airport. Please notify your airline that you have an assistance dog at least 48 hours before travelling. Any dogs travelling out of the UK must be micro-chipped, fully vaccinated and have an animal health certificate or a valid pet passport.
Passengers travelling with service animals can find relief facilities landside, opposite the drop-off.
