Getting to the Airport
Conveniently located in the heart of the city, we’re easy to get to by rail or road.
As the only airport in London, we are ideally located for those travelling to and from London and Greater London. With great public transport links and road connections on our doorstep, central London is no more than 30 minutes away.
If you’re planning on using public transport, a Visitor Oyster card is a great idea. Your Oyster card works on both trains and buses, so it's worth remembering to top it up! On the trains, you just tap the card when you embark on your journey and tap again at the end to pay.
If you are arriving by road, we have directions for getting here and further information on airport car parks as well.
Bank station, reduced access from the 30th September.
As part of essential upgrade work it may take longer to interchange at Bank station so please allow extra time for your journey. Please check TfL website for updates.
If you are picking up passengers from the Airport you are advised to park in the short stay car park.
Vehicles are not permitted to wait on the forecourt next to the terminal building and must not be left unattended at any time.
ANPR cameras are in use and fines will be issued.
