Working to monitor, manage and reduce the impacts of aircraft noise
The Noise Action Plan outlines LCY’s extensive commitments to monitor, manage and reduce the impacts of aircraft noise from 2018-2023.
It reviews our noise impact and determines actions to take over the 5-year period to sufficiently protect local communities.
We produced the plan in line with current legislation and national/local policy and held a 6-week public consultation from July to September 2018. The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs’ (Defra) then adopted the plan in accordance with Environmental Noise (England) Regulations 2006.
