Helping improve quality of life in local communities
Each year, the London City Airport Community Fund awards £75,000 in grants, ranging from £300 to £3,000. These funds go to local organisations who are creating significant and positive change in diverse, inclusive communities across East London.
Since launching in 2019, the fund has awarded over £400,000 in grants to 120+ local charities and not-for-profit organisations, with an extra £50k going towards food banks during the pandemic to support with the cost of living.
2023 grants
To date we’ve awarded £86,000 to 20 organisations including Salaam Peace, West Silvertown Community Foundation, Powerhouse for Women and the Helping Disabilities Trust. Please view the press releases for the full list of grantees in 2023 tranche 1 and tranche 2.
